Turning Adversity into Opportunity
The article starts off with a bit of background on Dr. Lewis. During a childhood accident, she broke her jaw. Thereafter, she had to attend multiple dental appointments during her road to recovery. Yes, it must have been a difficult situation for a young girl to deal with. However, it came with a silver lining. Her appointments gave her the opportunity to get to know her dental team and gain some firsthand knowledge of the dental field. She was fascinated by what she was learning!
Dr. Lewis’s experience motivated her to want to become a dentist. After years of hard work in school, she completed her dental education at Howard University College of Dentistry, where she was awarded the Community Dentistry Award and the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Award.

More than 15 years into her career, Dr. Lewis is still excelling in her field. As Living Magazine’s article points out, she “runs a thriving boutique dental practice that goes above and beyond to make patients feel comfortable.” Whether she is helping children establish the foundation of a good dental routine or providing complex care for adults, she strives to offer empathetic, top-quality service in a welcoming environment. Massage chairs and noise-cancelling headphones are just a few amenities that our practice offers in our quest to make patients feel at home.

Going Above and Beyond for the Community
Dr. Lewis genuinely cares about people, and that is obvious thanks to the way she gets involved in the Allen community. Our practice sponsors a local sports team each year, and we consistently support Toys for Tots. During Lewis even mentors the next generation of dentists during summer internships.
Dr. Lewis is more than just a great dentist — she is also an outstanding human being. We are proud that she was recognized in Living Magazine, but that doesn’t mean that our practice is going to rest on its laurels. We will forever be refining our efforts to be the best place for dental care in Allen.
